This book has distilled the life stories and opinions of WOSpecs, properly keeping them for future archivists and historians. The work is divided into three parts. Part I charts the WOSpec Corps' development, tying in closely to the history of Singapore and the SAF. Part II highlights the personal stories of WOSpecs across the ages; this is where individual history comes into play to complement the wider narrative. The nine roles of the WOSpec, as outlined in their WOSpec Transformation Working Committee meetings, form a framework for these stories. Part III concludes with the aspirations of the WOSpec Corps.
