Commando Training Institute (CDO TI)

Commando Training Institute (CDO TI)

CDO TI was formed on 30th April 2005 due to Army’s force structure transformation initiative to centralise all centres under a single HQ. It was officially inaugurated by the Chief of Army on 28th April 2006.

CDO TI is mandated to provide challenging and relevant Special Forces (SF) training to meet the operational needs of the SAF. In this regard, the CDO TI will be a key leverage in enabling the SAF Commandos to be continually well training to respond to both current and future operational challenges of the SAF.
